En kampanj för att medvetandegöra ungdomar om gifter i maten har dragits igång i USA. Kampanjen heter Food Fight. Tyvärr ljuger dom om global uppvärmning.
Bristerna i vår globala ekonomi exponeras bäst genom att titta på vårt matsystem – den jordutarmande och oljeförbrukandande fabriken jordbruk, ekonomisk politik som bidrar till svält utomlands och sjukdomar och fetma hemma, allt förpackat med en marknadsföringskampanj för att genomdriva ett socialt kontrakt med ”köp först, fråga aldrig”-policy – bara ta vad de säger för att köpa, äta och hålla käften.
Om vi bryr oss om våra barn, oss själva och vår planet, är det dags att avslöja sanningen i större skala, och hoppas tillräckligt med Food Fighters träder fram för att genomföra de förändringar som vi behöver.
